Software Engineer – Service Now

Roles & Responsibilities:
– Demonstrated technical capability in custom development for ServiceNow modules like Service Portal, HR Service Delivery, HR Onboarding and Transitions and ITSM is an added advantage.
– Develop and implement new applications on ServiceNow and integrations from initiation to completion, tailored to the customer requirements.
– Understand detailed requirements and own your code from design, implementation, test automation, and delivery of high-quality solutions to our customers.
– Develop workflows and scripts to personalize existing on ServiceNow and automate and improve business processes.
– Demonstrated good understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance/scale considerations.
– Experience in any front-end languages and libraries (e.g., HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery, Angular JS) is an added advantage.
– Configure Web Services to integrate with external applications using REST and SOAP API calls.
– Has worked in a successful start-up environment taking product from sprints to a mature stage.

Qualifications & Skills:
– Bachelors/Master’s degree in computer science/ IT engineering or equivalent.
– Min. 6+ years’ experience with ServiceNow app development.
– Demonstrating experience working with workflows in one or more key areas of the ServiceNow platform (e.g., Service Portal, ITSM, CSM, ITOM, SecOps)
– Expertise level understanding of ServiceNow Platform & its capabilities are required.
– Experience with web technologies JavaScript, ES5+, HTML, CSS/SCSS, SQL. Experience in one or more JavaScript frameworks like AngularJS or React is a plus
– Effective communicator with both internal & external stakeholders.
– Experience in a highly Agile/scrum environment.
– Ability to work in a start-up environment.
